The Rodfather is skippered by Steve, a highly professional skipper with over 12 years of charter experience in the Kaikoura region. Steve is very passionate about ensuring every trip is enjoyable and that the safety of passengers on board is paramount. Steve is a Maritime New Zealand certified skipper and also qualified with New Zealand Red Cross First Aid. Anton Evans Owner Anton offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in saltwater fishing, and dive as he has dived and fished around New Zealand and the world. Equipment The Rodfather operates under the New Zealand Safe Ship Management Policy MSA number and carries all safety and navigational equipment including full electronics, sounder, GPS as required by Maritime New Zealand.
